Savings/Investment Program

Share Savings Accounts
Your regular Share Savings Account is your basic credit union account. They are called shares because they make you a part owner of the credit union. This account pays dividends from the date of deposit to the date of withdrawal. A Minimum deposit of $5.00 is required to open and you may add or withdraw from your account at any time. A Share Savings Account must be opened for you to enjoy the benefits of other services.

Super Saver Tiered Accounts
This account pays higher dividends based on the amount that you have on deposit. This account also pays dividends from the date of deposit to the date of withdrawal. This account is designed for larger dollar amounts that you don't want to tie up for long periods of time.

Certificates of Deposit
We offer several certificates. You may start a CD with a $1,000.00 deposit and pick a term that is suitable for you.

Christmas Club and Vacation Club Accounts
These club accounts are a good choice to save for a special season. Unlike many club accounts elsewhere, we give you flexibility. There are no minimum deposits or scheduled payments required. You decide when and how much to deposit. Payroll deduction or transfer from other direct deposits is a convenient way to build these accounts. Dividends are paid from the date of deposit to the date of withdrawal and checks are mailed once a year.

Individual Retirement Accounts
Opening an IRA can mean financial security during your retirement plus it will allow you to reduce your tax dollars. Government limitations are set regarding annual contributions. We have traditional IRA's, Roth IRA's, and SEP IRA's available. You will need to contact us to determine which one fits your needs.

All savings accounts are federally insured by the NCUA (National Credit Union Administration) an agency of the U.S. Government. Accounts are insured to $250,000.00.

Share Draft Checking Account
This share draft checking account is a convenient way to access your account. Every month you will receive a detailed statement showing all transactions on your account. Overdraft protection is available for eligible members. In the event of an overdraft, we will transfer from your share account.

Consumer Loans
We offer loans for just about anything you can buy. We offer auto loans, truck loans, motorcycle loans, boat loans, camper loans, ATV loans, snowmobile loans, jet ski loans, computer loans at very competitive rates. If you are purchasing something and a dealer says he will shop and get you the best rate, be sure to check with us before signing anything to see if we have a better rate available.

Share Secured Loans
These loans let your money work for you. We secure the loans with the money on deposit at FCCU and give you an interest rate that is lower than if we held a title for security. The money stays in your account and continues to draw dividends but is frozen against your loan balance.

Signature Loans
These are unsecured loans that are available for any purpose. These loans have a maximum amount of $10,000.00.

Home Equity Loans
FCCU now offers our members Home Equity Loans. We have exceptionally competitive rates and very low closing costs. Use the equity in your home to update your home or make repairs, consolidate your bills, buy a car or take that much needed vacation!
